A trading day, explained: drag through the clock
Indian stock markets wake up at 9 in the morning. Move the slider to see what happens through an NSE trading day, and what we teach you to do at each stage.
Orders collected, opening price discovered
From 9:00 to 9:08 am, orders are placed and then matched to find a fair opening price. The market opens for normal trading at 9:15.
What you learn: reading gap-ups and gap-downs, global cues and your pre-market checklist.
Timings are the NSE equity segment’s regular session on a normal trading day. Exchanges can change timings for special sessions and holidays.

What is a typical class like?
Each class follows the same loop: a concept is explained, shown on live or recent market charts, practised by you, and then reviewed with the mentor. Questions are answered during the class.
Can I attend classes online?
Yes. You can join our Delhi classroom or attend the same live classes online from anywhere in India, in English or Hindi.
Do I need any experience to join?
No. Beginners usually start with the Alpha Course, and teenagers aged 14 to 17 with the Scout Course. Experienced traders can join advanced courses such as the 9AM Beta Course.
Can I attend a class before I enrol?

Why is the academy called 9AM?
Indian stock markets start their day at 9 in the morning with the pre-open session, and normal trading begins at 9:15. The name reflects learning to be prepared before the market opens.
Will you give me trading tips or calls?
No. 9AM Traders Academy is an education provider. We teach you to analyse the market and manage risk so you can make your own decisions.
Is the stock market risky for beginners?
Yes, especially in intraday and F&O trading. That is why every course starts with risk management, position sizing and planned exits before any trading setup.
