How to spot a fake stock market group
Scam groups copy the names of real academies and brands. Check for these warning signs before you join anything, including ours.
Guaranteed returns
No one can guarantee profit in the market. Anyone who does is selling a story.
Pressure to pay
Fees for ‘VIP’ groups, or asks to move to a private chat, are common scam tactics.

Cherry-picked wins are easy to fake and say nothing about the losses.
Requests for OTPs or app downloads
A real mentor never needs your OTP, password or remote access to your phone.

Is the 9AM Traders Academy WhatsApp group free to join?
Our learning groups are free to join. You never need to pay to stay in a group, and no admin should ask you for money. If anyone does, report it to us.
Will I get stock tips in the group?
No. The groups are for education, discussion and questions. We do not share buy or sell calls, targets or stop-loss levels, and nothing posted is investment advice.
Which group should I join first?
If you are new, start with the Beginners Learning Circle. Then add the group for the market you want to study, such as Stocks and Investing or Futures and Options.
How do I know a stock market WhatsApp group is not a scam?
Be wary of guaranteed returns, paid VIP groups, profit screenshots and requests for OTPs or app downloads. Take group links only from an official website you trust.
Can I leave a group whenever I want?
Yes. Leave any time from the group settings in WhatsApp. You can rejoin later using the same link if the group is still open.
